Wheelchair Division

TransCare's Mobility Van Transport division provides wheelchair transportation servies for patients that are wheelchair bound or in need of assistance getting to or from healtchare facilities in Anchorage. Our team is committed to providing quality and caring service both to patients as well as to their families.
Each member of our transport team is highly trained to provide a consistant and professional level of care to each one of our clients.

Ambulance Division

Our Ambulance Division is dispatched through the Anchorage Fire Department (907-267-4950) 24 hours a day, seven days a week, to provide ground ambulance transportation for patients that have been evaluated by a qualified healthcare provider or facility. Our ground ambulances operate primarily in the immediate Anchorage area, with the ability to travel to the surrounding Southcentral Alaska region. All of our Paramedics are certified through National Registry and the State of Alaska, and our EMTS's carry State of Alaska certification. TransCare provides continuing education courses and quarterly training for its employees; as well as various courses throughout the year, to further its employees medical knowledge.

We currently operate three ambulances around the clock, that feature cutting edge equipment to help better our patient care. Two of our ambulances provide bariatric stretchers and equipment, with the capability to safely lift and transport up to 1,100 pounds.
